ECTC's cafe recommendations in Scotland
In geographical order - not preference!
Highlands
Donaghy & Sanderson, 45 Atholl Rd, Pitlochry, PH16 5BX
Lovely coffee roasters and deli, brilliant coffee and food. Home of the Etape Caledonia, lovely climbs and lake roads from here, quiet roads and beautiful scenery. You can go from here and take in some very long alpine like climbs up to highland ski stations like Glenshee, another of the 100 great climbs 'the Cairnwell'

Braemar Mountain Sports Ltd., 5 Invercauld Road, Braemar, AB35 5YP
Just beyond Glenshee there is a cafe attached to the mountain sports shop, good food and cakes all set up for outdoor types. Again in the beautiful highlands of Scotland, not many roads but the ones there are a fairly quiet and good to ride on.
